Love One Another – His Love Proclaim
His Love Proclaim Box
“And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!” (D&C 18:15)

Love You Forever!!! As we decided on each ‘Missionary Box Theme’, which we based around a scripture or missionary teaching idea, we would then brainstorm fun ideas that could be included in our box. This ‘Box’ was pretty easy since lots of scriptures and teaching ideas center around LOVE. I’m sure it was just as much fun for us to build it as it was for our missionaries to receive it! Depending on the size of the box you are sending – you could include or delete any of the following items – or come up with a few of your own. We tried to make sure that most of our items could be used to enhance missionary discussions, to be given away, to decorate their missionary apartments and left for future missionaries when they moved on, or simply eaten and enjoyed. But of course there were always a few that were just for fun!
Love Mail!!! One thing we always included in all of our Missionary Box Mom Boxes was a personalized letter to each Missionary from each Mother. Inside our letters we included our testimonies, the reason we chose that particular item to include in the box, along with uplifting messages filled with love. A lot of the items won’t make much sense as to why you are including them in the box unless you explain how it specifically applies to your Missionary and to Missionary Work. Many times over I have received thank you letters from our Missionaries – but the things they thanked us all for the most was the letters we included. It’s just a little piece of ‘Home’ in a box! So don’t forget to write!

To start your box off right – how about doing a ‘Marvelous and Mighty Missionary’ candy box. We included bite-sized or personal sized candy along with some more practical office supply items and even tucked in a few love notes to be found after they enjoyed the treats! It was a big hit!
“It is simply there. It is there for you when you are sad or happy, discouraged or hopeful. God’s love is there for you whether or not you feel you deserve love.”
—President Thomas S. Monson, “We Never Walk Alone”
Introduction
If a heart-shaped box of chocolates seems a bit old-fashioned, try this. We stocked the large case with a variety of candies in different-size cookie cutters. The small one at right contains red and white rock candy; the bottom one, pink and white sea salt, for loved ones who favor savory indulgences.
Steps
1. Place one or more heart-shaped cookie cutters inside a clear, round container.
- Fill them with treats.
